IMAX - Blue Planet (Blu-ray Disc, 2007)

Marginal production. I thought I was buying the "Blue Planet: Seas of Life" series. I could not have been more mistaken. It is deceiving to have this DVD named the same as that 5 disc DVD series because it
is NOT the same thing. This was an outer space documentary, which if caught by chance on The Discovery
Channel would be interesting, but even then not worth planning your evening around catching. Do not
spend money on getting this in Blu-ray or in regular DVD format.

Very entertaining - stunning visual & audio effects. I would recommend this to anyone that has a blu-Ray Player.

Not what I really expeceted but I suppose that is my fault overall a great experince and stellers pictures.

I just bought me a big screen Plazma TV with high definition and this DVD actually shows you how fantastic having Blue Ray truly is. The graphics and views are incredible. You'll love it.

This disc has awesome pictures of earth from space.A whole new take on looking at the world around us.Stunning views and amazing sound! When the space shuttle takes off it sounds like you are really there.The Planet Earth is a great set of discs and if you like them this disc is a must have also.I bought this because it was recorded in Imax and its the first disc I have watched like this.Well worth it.

I purchased Blue Planet because I am interested in what our planet looks like from outerspace. Let me tell you, ITS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!! You cannot appreciate our planet until you see it this way.

I was disappointed by this video. I expected it to be more like "Planet Earth" where one views and really experiences our Earth's rare and endangered animals living in their normal habitats. This video was mostly filmed by astronauts and dealt with our Earth's fragile environment. Sadly, I would not recommend this video.

I brought this blu-ray documentary for my little boys. He was very affect by this incredible vision of our planet. This is show how the humain had pollute our earth. THANK

This film in Blu-ray is incredible. The bonus film also is remarkable. Great teaching videos with high value entertainment. Well worth the $$ and time!

It's been one month and i still haven't recieved the item that I purchased? I'm not sure what's goin' on with it!

This is truly a great film for all of you Discovery Channel Enthusiasts. The panoramic filming is breath-taking and it is beautifully narrated. I am looking to also pick up the Planet Earth Series on Blu-Ray when I can afford to purchase the set. This DVD is one of the favorites in my collection.

great movie teaches you a lot about the earth and what is happening to it.Would recomend it to anyone.

The content is very good and educational. However the trill would be much more if played in 3d. Blue Ray is just high resolution not 3d.

It's joust a great series and stunning views. I think it's definetly the best so far and the amount of animals and plants shown at an extraordinary picture perfect quality it's joust stunning.

we have come a long way sence black and white televisions.....i think everyone should see this in its best format it will leave you thinking .. the producers of this did a wonderful job
