How can you rate "I Love Lucy" with anything other than a 5* rating, I own all of the boxed sets and the clarity is exelent and on every dvd you get bonuses like the Lucy comedy radio show and special scenes from the show. Plus I never get tired of watching "I Love Lucy" anyway, and can watch it over and over again. I decided to buy all the boxed sets because the show doesn't come as much where I live anymore, and I never get tired of watching it, espessially when I need a good laugh.

Yes! She is hilarious. You will love Season One. One of my favorite episodes is Vitameatavegamin. Best part about having lucy on dvd is that you get to see Flubs, Lost Scenes, Behind-the Scenes Featurettes, Deleted Footage, Original Series Openings, Scene Selections, Photo Galleries and so much more! All 35 episodes are uncut and Digitally Remastered! Get the family together for laughs with I Love Lucy. She will never be forgotten!

BRAVO to the industry for finally giving us I LOVE LUCY on DVD. The series, which lasted 6 years, was finally released on DVD in 2003. They started with the first season (and it took a few years to release the entire series) but for fans, this is a wonderful treat to finally have the uncut, and complete series, plus extras on DVD.

The quality is wonderful and the extras are perfect. For any fan, this is a must have series.

The first season is very unique and you can see subtle changes in the characters over the first series. I particularly like that that each DVD has extras and you can view them all at once.

Buy this DVD set and you will be hooked and will need the rest of the series.

I decided start my collection of the I love Lucy dvds because my boyfriend and I love her! She is hysterical! And by us purchasing the seasons, it will give our future children good classic comedy to watch and have for themselves. Its good old fashion comedy, and you hardly find anymore "good" tv shows anymore.

I Love Lucy is the classic comedy show. I bought all the seasons. I don't have full cable or satellite and it isn't on too often at a time when I can watch it. (no DVR either) I have loved Lucy since I was little. It is clean and wholesome entertainment that doesn't depend on crude jokes, profanity or partial nudity. Most importantly it is really funny. Even though Lucille Ball is the star the show features the other members of the cast almost equally. No one person is always responsible for the mishaps. This set includes the famous "Lucy Does a TV Commercial" episode with the classic Vitameatavagamin scene.
My kids were watching the same shows over and over until I finally said "No we are watching something else." I turned on I Love Lucy and they loved it. Now my 6 year old granddaughter loves it and so does my neighbor who is a great grandmother. Lucy is great fun for all ages.

Lucille Ball is one of the best comic geniuses of all time! This boxed set is so good, especially since it had so many extras! The only con I have is that they emphasize that you get to see the "lost pilot" which is pretty cool, but it was redone as an episode later, so it isn't really that "new." If you're into black and white, squeaky clean, can't stop laughing entertainment, then this is the DVD set for you. 5+ stars.

I tried watching the first disc but it is to scratched to run. The other discs seem to be in OK condition. I bought it to watch while on the treadmill.

What I most like about this DVD is the radio shows that are part of the extras. You get to hear what the show was like before Desi. I found out that a lot of the shows in the first season were taken from Lucy's radio show my Favorite Husband. You also get to see the lost pliot for the show, which was re-done as an episode. The one thing I hate though is that at the beginning of each disk you have to listen to the I Love Lucy theme song, meaning Desi signing the words, which I didn't know it had I now just leave the room now. There a lots of tid bits of information like what happened to some of the actors on the shows and who were Lucy's favorites. All in all it is a great CD and I look at it quite often @ least twice per week..because I Love Lucy. I can't wait to own the 2nd season.

I love, I would buy again, the tv show is so much comedy. I bought because i been a really big fan of I love Lucy for years. I grew up with that show and i love it. when i'm down it always gets me happy.

I bought this item for my mother in law bucause she loves watching lucille ball.I also watch them myself cause i like it when she goofs up alot and i loves the way she sounds.

I already have this set but wanted a new disc 5. I liked that it was only in enevelope covers. The condition was stated acceptable, which really made it perfect for me price wise. As for the extra copy, my daughter was thrilled to have her own set of "Lucy". It was a lucky find for me.

this was not only a great buy but is one of my favorite series. I have always loved the "I love Lucy" show since I was little. Definitely always well worth the money.

I never received it. A month later I emailed them wanting to get the tracking number. They gave me a invalid tracking number so I requested a refund and they gave me my money back.
