This is the first paranormal romance by Sizemore that I have read. I was really impressed with the characters and writing style. The only drawback was that there was a lot of backstory that must have been in previous books. The vampire hierarchy seemed a bit complex and the constant references to events not in the book was a bit annoying. Otherwise, this was a great read: part romance, part paranormal, and part action/suspense. This is a good, but not fantastic, paranormal romance. I'm looking forward to reading others in the series.

) New twist on the Vampire genre. Exciting and easy to read without having read the two previous books in the series. The romance is top notch! The action adventure is fast and not too gory to read at lunch! I can't wait to read the rest of the series.
