We previously owned this book and it has been son's favorite. It was accidentally damaged and we had to replace ASAP because my son was crying so much. This book is great for kids!

love the story but scared of the illustrations..
) I love this author but the illustrations are really weird. It seems to captivate my toddler for the most part but if the illustrations were more realistic looking, i think he'd be able to understand it a little better.. some of the illustrations are just downright scary looking...

I bought this book for my 3 year old son because they had read it at school and he loved it and talked about it all the time. I wasn't to impressed though how they are showing this boy disobeying his mother and painting all over himself.

I Ain't Gonna Paint No More!This is an extremely fun book. It helps teach kids rhyming and rhythm. This is definitely one of my all time favorite books.

Your kids will love this book
) I originally checked this book out at the library. My daughter started "singing" the rhythmic words throughout the day and she asked me to read it to her all the time. As an adult, it is fun to read as you can be super-expressive, read it loud or whisper, talk about the pictures, and basically experience it in different ways with your child. The pictures are great, too. Finally, this book is much cheaper to buy on ebay than in the stores.
My advice is to test books by checking them out at the library, then buy your favorites on ebay!

Great Buy for InstructorThis book was a very good buy for my purpose. As a college instructor teaching students who are becoming teachers, I can use this resource to build a large professional library at an inexpensive price. I teach off campus and carry a lot of books with me to get students excited about teaching. This book is very funny and great addition to my collection and was in good condition. My students loved it!

After reading a borrowed copy of this to my students, their reaction was a catalyst for my buying this and all other Karen Beaumont books I could find. I teach Kindergarten through Fifth grade students with special needs ranging from minimal academic support to maximum lifeskills instruction. Each and every student enjoys and participates in the oral reading of this wonderful book. The rhyme and rhythm of the story enables students to use phonemic awareness skills to complete the anticipated sentence endings. A book like this can literally make a child fall in love with literature!
