Ann Rule Books

I read many true crime writers books, but Ann Rule is by far one of the very best writer's of true crimes. She is one person that will take you into the view and life of the victim, which for the most part is not the norm.
Over the years it's been the Murderer's in the true crime history that is widely reviewed and completely broken down piece by piece, so that we can, the best way that we can, try to understand or atleast attempt to what makes that type of personality tick. So, it always has been the "Killer" that everyone remembers the name of and the where and the how's of...but, Ann Rule, take all of that and pulls it a step further, while she tries to also look into that aspect of the crime, she also brings us closer to the victim and the loved one's left behind in such a way that you feel so close to it as you are reading, that you definately want to follow up on these people and their lives down the road after their terrible ordeals.
She is one of the only Author's that I have ever seen keep a web page just for that type of follow up also, so that we might look into whaty is happening to the family members now. Also making it possibly for any of us to reach out to the victims families and let them know that they are not alone in there search for understanding as to why these horrible things even so much as exist in our world and must deal with day to day.
She also keeps us informed of the very people that put their lives on the line every single day to try to keep us all safe and the one's who also adjudicate all of the trials also.
In any case, I believe that Ann Rule may very well be the best True Crime writer we have at this date and time. And possibly the best one of the past twenty years also...and she is writting more for us still to read. I believe everyone that enjoys reading and also enjoys true crime books to make sure that they put Ann Rules' books at the top of their list to add to their personal library.
This particular book was about Randall Woodfield and the I-5 Killings called "The I-5 Killer" , but she has a total of 30 books to my knowledge and only one isn't a true crime book, it is her tribute to Seatle and a Coffee Table book, but the other 29 are sensational.
The last of her true crime books is called Omnibus, which is three of her books put into one single jacket, all of which, I have already read, so that particular one, I did not buy...but if I ever found out that it had more to it than just those three stories, I would, because she is just that good of a writer. I would encourage anyone to read Ann Rule's Books.
