Hysteria: The Def Leppard Story (DVD, 2005)

I love this biography of Def Leppard because it shows the individual lives of the members before, during and after their success broke through into the USA. You can truly appreciate the struggles they each overcame, as well as the triumphs. The tragedies that have both shadowed and molded these guys' path through their career and their life is truly an inspiration to us all never to give up on your hopes and dreams. I have been a fan for twenty years and I still love their music and go to their concerts when they tour.

I love it because Def Leppard is my most favorite band. I love being able to watch how they got started and the lives they led. I love the idea of being able to see this movie as many times as I want to without having to go to the video store...Now I just want to get the music cd and I'll be set.

I have always loved Def Leppard since they came out in the 80's. I had seen this movie on t.v. but never got the chance to see it all. I think they did a wonderful job protraying the band and all they had to go through to make it. I loved this movie, really shows that besides working together in the band they also were great friends. I wanted to buy this movie and took me a long time to find it. None of the stores carried it so I finally got on ebay and found it and bought it. I have watched it about 4 times already, It is a great movie and will watch it again and again.

Loved it and always had since I saw it on VH1. Tells the story of Def Leppard and their rise to stardom and also their troubles and personal trials. Wonderful...

This DVD is a must have for the Def Leppard fan. It's a perfect making of the events that started the band and made them into the rock'n'roll giants they still are today. It also shows the stuggles they faced, from Rick Allen losing his arm to a car wreck, to Steve Clark's alcohol addiction. I can't stop watching it. Def Leppard fan for life!!!!

This has to be one of the best documentary movies to ever capture the story of a rock band! There is so much to tell! One of the best rock bands in history also has one of the most interesting stories of any band! Triumph and Tragedy surround an amazing story that you will watch again and again!

I paid for this dvd with hard working money, and I received a destroyed case. I left seller a good feedback, but I think he didn't do me fairly, but I guess that it is okay. I have an excellent feedback status, and I take that very seriously.

I just watched the Def Leppard movie, and found it to be very entertaining. It moved along at a good pace, and really helped give a little insight into what the band went through. I did not think that Joe shouldn't have been made out to be so "bossy" instead of "driven to reach a goal". I also was hoping that they would have shown more of Steve's quirky personality instead of giving you the sence that he was just a miserable person all the time. I was also hoping to see a little type of a memorial service for Steve. Overall, it was a very enjoyable movie(even if you didn't like the band)and I would definitly recommend adding this one to your movie collection!

I had looked for this for years, since I watched it on VH1, I went to web sites, VH1, called video stores...no luck and one day I was sitting on ebay and did a search for Def Leppard and there it was...I was so excited! I FINALLY got to see the entire movie about my fav. band.

I bought it because I love Def Leppard. I watched it on VH1 when it came out. I bought it because I didn't know that it was out on dvd. I'll be a fan till the day I die(lol)!

First time I have made a purchase on Ebay and didn't get the product. So I was pretty disappointed. It was a Christmas present and I know my son would have liked it since he is a Def Leoppard fan. So not to be negative because one item doesn't weigh out all the good items that I have purchased on Ebay.

Love the DVD - however it took 6 WEEKS from the time I ordered until I received it. There was NO "thank you for your order" email, even after an inquiry when I hadn't heard from Midwest Media after 3 weeks. Payment was sent to Nebraska, but the DVD was shipped from Illinois!!

The story in itself is great and factual. The only thing I disliked about this movie is that you never see the actual members of the band.

If your even a casual Def Leppard fan, you must see this. Good story on the history of the band. I saw it on VH1 and wanted to own it.

if you're a fan of Def Leppard,or any other(mainly 80's)hard rock band,than i'm sure that this movie will be a nice addition to your collection.the actors,the costumes,everything is well placed,and well filmed to make you witness the history of 1 of the biggest bands on the planet,even for a while.although,as the band themselves admit,there are some parts of the history changed,to make it a bit more fit for the drama of the movie.you'll see the ups and downs of rock 'n' roll stardom,and you may realise that sometimes all that it brings with,ain't always nice...the only bad thing i found about the movie,is that it ends before Steve's death.to me that should have been the great finale,with the release of Adrenalize...otherwise,it serves as a little piece of rock history as well.

This is a great film for anyone. It gives a pretty good perspective on Def Leppard, what they went through and even into the business side of the house. All the actors are pretty believeable. However, Anthony Michael Hall as Mutt Lange is a bit of stretch. Best rock docudrama ever.

As a fan of Def Leppard from way back when, this movie does a great job of recreating the band, Steve Clark battling alcoholism and Rick Allen's lost of his left arm in a car accident. The movie takes you back to the day of the band being unknown and playing at a high school talent show to stardom at arenas and in between. A excellent must see for any Def Leppard fan.
