This book is written very clearly and literally takes you step by step through hypnosis. It will teach you about the words to say for the induction, what is going on, and some What If's that can happen along the way.
It is a very easy read in the fact that it is written very well for the average reader. It is a very conversational style and is definitely a very good first book for someone who is thinking about getting into hypnosis.

) First, I trust that you've read the title and picked up on the whole "Beginner" part. This will not be the key that ignites your career as a stage or therapeutic hypnotist. My impression is that it is best read by someone who has already successfully experienced an induced trance (the kind someone leads you into, not the kind you slip into in church or at a meeting). This is especially true if you are overly analytical, as I am. I learned a bit too much from this for my own good when it comes to going into trance because I can now recognize the techniques described and have the voice in my head go, "Aha! That's fractionalization. I know how this works."
The author is of the highest ethical standards and he writes in plain English. I would buy it again.
