Hydro Thunder (Nintendo 64, 2000)

It's a wonderful game, but the arcade version is better! You can't automatically access all boats and all tracks on the Nintendo version, where with the arcade version, you can access any of each of those things on your first set of quarters. In addition, you need to have the computer paks to be able to advance on the Nintendo version, because it has to save your data to know that you've beaten tracks to advance! So, not only do you have to have the paks, but you also have to win 1st-3rd in the "easy" (then "medium") tracks to access all tracks and boats on the Nintendo version. If you're really good that's okay, but there are some of the advanced tracks that were really fun on the arcade version & there is no telling when I'll be able to get to them! Sellers should keep that in mind and notify the buyers in the description when selling this product.

Hydro Thunder for the Nintendo 64 is a fun video game to play for those of us older people that have trouble working two joysticks at once. It can become very time consuming if you're not careful,it's hard to put down. There's no blood & guts, unlike alot of the games our youth play today. It is very safe for small children to play. A good family game.

This game is great! The game play is exciting and the graphics are awsome. Its a must have if you like racing.

its a great racing game, but even better it isnt a regular old car racing game your racing some pretty crazy speed boats. has plenty of unlockables and secrets to keep you playing for a long while. only draw back is thats it only allows up to 2 players.

Love the sound of the boats as the time counts down. The colour is great.I used to have one like it and remembered how much i loved playing it so i bought it.

This is the one of the best N64 games that you must own one for yourself. Play it just like the good old days except you don't have to worry about having enough quarters. The N64 is the only version besides the arcade to enable 4 multiplayers in a simultaneous game. Make sure you unlock all 4 bonus tracks and 4 bonus boats to bring this game's excitement to the max.

Hydro Thunder features excellent arcade quality with Expansion Pak. The game also works great with the rumble pack to give you a feel of the real arcade game.
