The Hunted (DVD, 1998, Widescreen)

This movie had all you could ask for in a picture. Lot's of action, and stunts.Good storyline, and acting. Joan Chen's cameo roll was very endearing.

If you've always wanted to know about various aspects of Japanese society you may have heard of, this movie has got just about all of it! You have Christopher Lambert of the Highlander series and movie as the main character. This movie has Ninja fights and tactics, kendo training, sword Samurai training, tactics and fighting, archery and archery training including arrows shot while the person is on horseback in one scene, you have a lot of bravery and courage, etc. Why this movie even has a pachinko parlor. A very famous taiko company plays the drums throughout the movie. We also have this movie on VHS but wanted the DVD version. I first saw it years ago. This movie is an adult movie - not for children, because there are sex scenes in the beginning and a lot of violence and blood shed. It can be brutal in parts because many innocent people are killed along the way. However, if you want to see unlikely heroes live through amazing, insurmountable odds this is a great movie. This movie has a good ending too.

movie was who my martial arts instructor said helped in the martial art interactions of the movie,it is a must see i was informed.

Excellent martial arts movie.I liked the way they blended the colors at the begining so that it softened the actual asasination scene,it had a lot of ction with some comedy thrown in.

Great fun to watch! Love Christopher Lambert, always look forward to seeing his movies. Bought it as a gift to my husband, but I had fun with it, too!

This is a fantastic early 90's action drama. It's a tale of a guy that meets a gorgeous Japanese women, and gets involved in a conflict between an old Japanese family (Samurai) and a ninja clan. Christopher Lambert gives a good performance.

Brand new dvd,almost impossible to find...i found it! One of my favorite ninja/samurai movies,great sword action with a nice plot.
