Hungry Girl by Lisa Lillien (2009, Paperback)

I bought this because I just had weight loss surgery, but really wanted to keep eating my favorite foods. This book helps because it gives you healthier version of the things you already love to eat in moderate portions.

I knew the Lisa Lillien website and used to receive the emails which included daily devotional to food. I was amazingly random and caught my attention the minute I started reading it. I had been wanting to buy one of her books which I had seen on sale at Michael's Arts & Crafts and Bed, Bath & Beyond. I thought I might look for either a used copy or on sale on ebay since I have a paypal account. Your metabolism slows down when you get close into your 40's like I am. I am trying to make my 40's the new 20's. So, I heard to try eating smaller meals of less caloried intake. The title of this book fit my plans to a "T". So, I just purchased it on ebay from a very reputable seller. The copy I received was in excellent condition. My seller went the extra mile by sending me a brand new copy when she actually ran out of the copies she owned. I was a brilliant move which I really appreciated. It totally made my day when I got this brand new book in my mail that day. I have been enjoying it and recommending it to others. I know its a keeper!!

My mom loves this book. I bought it for her birthday. She loves all the great food and that its a good diet book.

Lots of great recipes - easy to make, taste wonderful. I love her website and this puts some of her very best recipes all together in an easy to use format.

I saw this book advertised and thought I would like it. The recipes seem to be easy though I have yet to try any. Most of the recipes are for one or two people and since I live alone I thought it would be something I could use (most cookbooks are for 4 and more people.

Awesome ideas in this book. I am going to get more copies for christmas gifts so people will leave mine alone!

I LOVE this book! I've tried many recipe's, and love them all!! The pumpkin pie is perfect! I've been doing weight watchers for a while now, and I seemed to be eating the same things everyday. So I purchased this book hoping to get out of the rut I was in. Well worth the money!! I have great dishes to take to potlucks, and dinner is always great!

This is a good little recipe book. She has many ideas that I haven't tried before and they work and taste good. I had seen her on the Rachael Ray show and decided to give her book a try. glad I did, and would definately recommend it.

Allows anyone on a weight maintence, to a variety of choices to stay on program. Boredom could be the biggest opportunity in weight loss that we deal with today. 200 under 200 will help keep you excited in your own weight loss program

Love the recipes, they are simple and fast. Anyone can do these recipes. I love to bake and cook if not for me then for my family. I also love to try new things and this book will help anyone onje no matter what their skill level is. Wonderful recipes that are sure to be delicious to everyone that tries them.

This cook book was informative and not 'old school' writing - very funny and useful. I would recommend this purchase to a novice or an experienced cook. I decided to add this book to my collection of unusual cookbooks that I started many years ago.

I really enjoy the fact that all the recipes are under 200 calories. This book gives you great eating ideas if you are following the weight watchers plan. Lots of great tips and the recipes are easy to follow.

This is a great cookbook. I use it often. The recipes are easy to follow and do not require strange ingredients that are hard to find.

It also helps with portion control,size, but at times it is hard to stop at just one.

The recipes are easy to make and all of them sound tempting, without having to go through this huge shopping list to make them. There is a muffin used alot that I haven't checked into yet, apparently available through health food stores and online. I have an egg allergy so I probably won't be trying most of the dessert recipes, unfortunately :(

Great book easy and simple recipes contains recipes that for dishes that you have the things to fix in your home now and not things that you haven't heard of.

Excellent recipes for weight conscience people and their mates. But when you get it, go to their website for more pictures and Weight Watcher points values.

I was hesitant to buy this 2nd book by Lisa Lillien but then gave into my "cravings" and am very glad I did. The recipes are not only easy but also very low in points and very worthwhile in the fiber and taste departments ... which can only lead to satisfaction. Good for you HG! You did it again and even better.
