This cd is a bit old but is has a lot of good songs on it such as: Ain't No Click; Playboy; On Fire; Warrior; Warrior pt.2; I get High; I'm so Fly; Work Magic and Til the End. I love Lloyd Banks!

Lloyd Banks CD Hunger for More
Review created: 07/08/09

Well this CD is worth even $20 in my opinion. I am not Lloyd Banks fan, but this album was a good one. It is like 50's Get Rich or Die Tryin. That album was spectacular and they they were not as good. This Hunger for More was lloyd Banks CD, and I recommend all of you getting it. The non-single songs are awesome as well.

This is a must in my opinion even for those non hip hop fans.

I give this album 9.3/10 (I critic hard).

This Feast Is Far From Satisfying
Review created: 03/02/07

Pros:
Nice singles and generally good boardwork

Cons:
Boring lyrics and gangsta rap cliche galore

As the sound of a money counter flipping bills kicks off the first track ( Ain t No Click ) of Lloyd Banks 2004 debut, The Hunger for More, I wondered whether this was going to be some cruel capitalist joke played on the public. After all, the young Queens rhymeslinger belonged to G-Unit, a crew not exactly known for artistic brilliance. Thus crowning him the best G-Unit wordsmith is a sort of a backhanded compliment. So how would I not be expectant of an album with top-notch boardwork but generic gangsta rap? Apparently I was right. It is indeed shocking that The Hunger for More contains...

G-Unit may have the $$ but we have the Hunger For More

Pros:
Lloyd has talent in his vocals, production is pretty good, some excellent tracks, singles.

Cons:
It gets tiresome, it's hard to give the album multiple listens, 6 bad tracks.

What is one thing the new record label or clothing line G-Unit has something wrong with it? People buy the stuff but what do they feel after wards? Disappointed. The latest album from the record label is from Tony Yayo. Also, Eminem's latest Encore sold and sold but the results was pretty bad. BUT there is some light in the record label but however, he left earlier this year who goes under the name of The Game. His album sold and had satisfying results. Now, that light is gone and it leaves the rest of G-Unit. In 2004, their latest member to the company is Llyod Banks with a record titled...

Pros:
A Few Good Beats, Maybe 3 or 4 good punches

Cons:
This album is worse than a double-bypass surgery...

Within the past year, G-Unit has invaded radio stations nationwide and hereby cursed us once again with their brand of idiotic, overly-dramatic gangsta rap. Their whackness has been showcased again and again, starting with leader 50 Cent's first major label release: 2003's Get Rich or Die Tryin'. This album simultaneously managed to not only unleash the vile, gruesome stench of 50 Cent upon the world, but opened the doors for his cronies to appear. With Tony Yayo of G-Unit incarcerated, 50 and original member Banks recruited southern rapper Young Buc into their collective and the trio...

Pros:
SOme Good Production

Cons:
Weak Lyrics and Content, Weak Guest Appearances, Some wack Production, Just Weak and Disappointing

Back in 2002 in high school I bought a mixtape from a friend. It was the G-Unit No Mercey, No Fear mixtape. Now I had never really been a huge 50 Cent fan, but I had heard some G-Unit and was somewhat impresed by Banks and Yayo, so I gave the NMNF mixtape a listen. Man was I surprised when I hear this cat named Lloyd Banks just absolutely terrorizing the mic spitting killer punchlines with crazy similies and metafores, and even some street narratives. Man I couldn't wait to get more Banks sh!t. Then came the Best of Lloyd Banks tape, and out of the 40 tracks, id say 32 of them were absolute...

My Appetite For Good Hip-Hop Is Now My Hunger Pain!
Review created: 09/23/04
by: whisperscream -- a member of Epinions

Pros:
Occasional tight delivery; occasional tight punch line; beats make the album

Cons:
A good beat doesn t always make up for a mediocre song...

I thought of about 100 different ways to introduce my review of this album. I tried thinking of creative introductions to avoid saying what s already been said millions of times before but to be honest, my whole train of thought seemed to be uninspired. Then it suddenly clicked why. This album isn t a great source of inspiration. I never had a strong desire to hear or own this album and I found nothing truly captivating about it. Lloyd Banks just seems to be another hip-hop artist who allowed the mainstream to taint and destroy his potential and talent. He created a strong buzz for himself...
