In this book there are three main characters: Wanda, Massie, and Peggy. Peggy is the most popular kid in her class and is never mean to anyone at least that’s what she thinks. Massie her best friend is very soft spoken. Wanda isn’t rich like Peggy and Maggie and wears the same worn out blue dress every day. One day at school the girls were standing in a circle and they asked Wanda how many dresses she had in her closet. Wanda said “a hundred.” The next day everyone teased Wanda. Everyone except Massie. The next three days Wanda didn’t show upup for school.
