Hud (DVD, 2003)

A Hollywood classic for sure with Paul Newman playing a "James Dean" type role. Newman is gorgeous as always.

I purchased this DVD because I saw this movie when it first came out in the theater. I am a Paul Newman fan, and this is a wonderful movie that I recommend to everyone. It is a sad story about a disfunctional family, but if you are a Paul Newman fan, you will enjoy the movie.

HUD is a great film starring Paul Newman. It would be a gread addition to any film library or gift for that film buff you know. The story centers around Paul Newman Charatcer, Hud. His young brother Lonnie and his Father. Very dramatic and epic in scope of the human condition and relationships between family. If you try it and like the movie I would recomend the novel as well.

I love Paul Newnam and could not find this excellent movie he did when he was young. I think it is one of his best performances.

I bought this DVD for my dad, who first introduced me to this movie. An absolute classic. Paul Newman plays the incorrigible title character you love to hate. Hud, as his father (played by Melvyn Douglas) says, "Ain't fit to live with." Patricia Neal gives an Oscar-winning performance as Alma Brown. HUD is based on the novel by Larry McMurtry. A fantastic movie!

I loved the movie. It is one of Paul Newman's best movies. I recommend it to anyone who wants to see a good movie!

My mom has everything! So this year, I decided to hunt and purchase some of her all time favorite old movies. After searching several "movie outlets" with no luck, something in my brain said Ebay! I searched by titles and there they were!! This particular movie is one I have heard her say she could watch over and over.....and she has!! The movie was brand new, sealed and remastered ,making it even better than she remembered! I was really pleased to be able to find such an obscure movie title with such ease. It made her birthday! She even packed it up and took it on vacation with her!! I have my eye on a classic collection DVD for part of her Christmas gift. I'm just glad that there is a place for people like me to find gifts...people who want something a little off the beaten path!!
