I saw this Cary Grant/Sophia Loren movie decades ago. I decided to get the DVD and watch it with my family. It was as funny now as it was back then.

My 15 year old laughed and was very enthusiastic about watching it. I really enjoyed the movie more myself as I was a child when I first saw it. It's great that so many older movies have made it to DVD. I highly recommend this one!

It's hard not to love movies with Carey Grant in them, but you get a major bonus having Sophia Loren in it too. It's a clean movie, a bit romantic, and best of all at the end of the movie, your left with a good feeling. It's a cute story, and after watching it on the Classic Movie Channel, I just had to own it. If you love Carey Grant movies, this is one to add to your collection.

What a classic, wonderful and funny movie. I am so pleased with this purchase of "Houseboat". The old movies are easy on the eyes and brain to sit and watch for any length of time.

I just wanted the movie. It was a fair price and it turned out to be a good product. What else is there to say.

A good story with fun and serious moments.
There are a number "social examinations" in the story, but it's mostly a love story with kids and a single dad.
We don't buy very many movies, but after I saw it on tv, I wanted to buy it.
I hope you enjoy it for all the reasons I do.

a classic. Its a shame Cary Grant never won an oscar.

This is a fun, family-style romantic/comedy film with two of the past very popular actors. Easy to watch, and enjoy.

I have loved this movie since I was a girl. I think it the first time I fell in love with Cary Grant.

I love Cary Grant, and this movie was in excellent condition, and great value for the price! Cary Grant and Sophie Loren shine in this classic love story. It is funny, it is romantic, and you can't help but love the movie. It is the perfect movie to sit down with and enjoy movie night. It can take you away from my "mom" world and keep you totally enchanted. The story line is a typical "man can't see the love of his life right in front of him" storyline, but it is done with such charm and class that only Cary Grant could ever deliver. You need this for your library!

Great movie about family with missing father, death of mother, father returning to become a father, the kids are great and both Cary and Sophia play believable characters,.... good side stories with Sophia's character father and the sister in law and just growing up of the kids. Great family movie. Can you imagine, no blood and guts and no foul language. Make some of these movies today Hollywood!!!!!

This was a pretty good movie, Cary Grant and Sophia Loren have a believable on-screen chemistry, but it was a little slow at parts; still I am glad to have it in my collection. Consistent with all of Cary Grant's movies that I've seen, it is appropriate for the family and is not vulgar or violent.

Presto, presto, do your very best-o.... What a combo, Grant and Loren. Did they make other films together? WOW! Paul Peterson, of The Donna Reed Show, fame plays what a kid should portray and is that Paul whats-his-name from the Too Fast, Too Furious deal all grown up. He left his harmonica behind if that's the case. In all, we should all experience life on a "Houseboat". A good watch.

Wonderful family movie!! Makes you laugh more than once, great for watching with a big bowl of popcorn and kids. Will watch it again and again. So happy it was on Ebay,otherwise hard to find some of these old movies.Ebay makes it easy.
