Movie Description
Part E.R. and part C.S.I., HOUSE is a medical mystery television show that's appealing due to its creative camerawork, interesting characters, and twisting plotlines. Dr. Gregory House (Hugh Laurie) is a brilliant medical professional, but often alienates his patients and co-workers because of his abrasive manner and bitterness. In each episode House is faced with a person exhibiting a number of unusual symptoms, and along with his team of dedicated doctors and nurses, must discover what strange illness is afflicting the patient...before it's too late! The show moves at a rapid pace, spurred by its turning and suspenseful plotlines and the lively interaction between the characters, played by a strong supporting cast that includes Robert Sean Leonard, Omar Epps, and Sela Ward. HOUSE: SEASON ONE collects all 22 episodes of the program's first year.

      GREAT TV Show!

My husband got me to watch this show and I got hooked! Hugh Laurie (From Stewart Little) plays House. House is not your normal caring doctor. Very sour and blunt but knows what he is doing. He never sugar coats anything when he talks to people and often says something sarcastic. Also there is a mystery about him at times like: Where did he get that limp? Was he always this grumpy? Will he ever be happy and trust the people around him? Most questions are answered later on but there are always more questions that is the mystery of House. You get sucked into this world and dont want to pull away. Some lines are so funny also that you cant help laugh. Must see tv.

      THE DOCTORS IN!

House is a great TV show and having it on DVD is wonderful. This is one of few TV shows we watch faithfully. This is the doctor you just can not get enough even through is sarcastic, rude, calous but really really smart! I hope they keep house on the air a long time. This is not for the squimish at heart. I does show graphic medical procedures and medical problems, The characters keep you on your toes. If you have not seen house put it on your to do list. Not recommended for young children.
