Light mystery reading for a fun summer read. Found out this book is the second in the Jefferson Hunt Club series by this author. Characters continue, but different storylines, so they really don't have to be read in order. I am definately going to read the rest in the series. I love the fact that the author has the animals talking to each other (not to the human characters). Lots of witty commentary on the humans from the animal's perspective. Fun book and a good mystery too.

) Fun light reading but you have to be willing to accept the conceit that animals talk. These include dogs, cats, owls, foxes, horses and cows. Of course they only talk to each other, not to humans. They only comment on us.
