Reviews Review created: 10/03/08 by: Too slow. Ends up being boring. you have to listen/read the talking that the characters do... no way to speed them up, and it becomes real boring real fast. I did not find the characters likeable either, which made reading what they had to say irritating. Review ID: 10000000008897073 Was this review helpful? Report this review I bought the Hotel Dusk game yesterday and found that it's a good game. I didn't try it very much yet but It catches my attention a lot and the walkthrough seams to be interesting and not too hard. Review ID: 10000000008843222 Was this review helpful? Report this review Hotel Dusk is a unique noir style DS game. While not perfect, its interesting story and clever puzzles make this an enjoyable game to play. The good: - Clever puzzles that make use of the DS's unique features. - A built in memo-system that lets you take notes in the DS. - An interesting art style that blends 2D black & white characters with a 3D color environment. The bad: - The dialog scrolls a little too slowly and I often wished that I could speed it up. - Moving the protagonist takes a little getting used to, but it's not too difficult after a little practice. - Once or twice I got lost trying to figure out what to do next, but usually it's not a problem. The item came as described and at a price that was what I wanted to pay. It was a gift and it was exactly what was requested. Review ID: 10000000008684941 Was this review helpful? Report this review Review created: 07/06/08 by: I was looking to pick up a new version of this game, which is hard to find. Not many were manufactured. The seller produced exactly what he/she described: a new wrapped copy. I used Buy It Now and now I have my very own copy. Review ID: 10000000007851702 Was this review helpful? Report this review |
