Hotel for Dogs (DVD, 2009, Sensormatic; Full Screen)

This is a great family movie! I have a seven and ten year old and it was perfect for them both. It was funny and not scary. It is a good movie for dog lovers alike. I recommend it!

It is obviously a Disney movie with all the color and fashion. NO WAIT IT IS A DREAMSWORK MOVIE an EQUALLY talented studio. This movie was purchased as a gift to a 3year old who decided that all she wanted for her birthday was the “Doggie movie.” I rented this movie but since it was really fun for the whole family I decided to buy it for her since she love it so much. If you like animals or know someone that does…this movie is wonderful.In this film kids decide to take charge and help out animals specifically Dogs. The story goes a little like this: Emma and Jake are troubled siblings who keep one dog without anyone knowing, but consequently end up with dozens and dozens of stray, and shelter dogs. They so with a lot of work from their friends and Jake the inventor, make a topnotch Hotel for Dogs. A little unrealistic but for kids anything is possible. Don Cheadle and Lisa Kudrow have a small role but they perform it stylishly.

It is such a cute movie - to see all the dogs trained is amazing. It is boring for adults but definitely a good movie to watch with the kids.

This is a must see movie if you love dogs! It is a outstanding family movie. You'll Love it! Adults will love this movie too.

The dogs were amazing in the things they did. The story was funny and entertaining - a good movie for all kids to see.

My son loves puppies and dogs so this was a great buy for us. It is a cute story for both little and bigger kids, adults too! The kids in it were great and the story also has a great message to it. It made me want to go to the pound and adopt a bunch of dogs.

My sister takes her dogs into hotel all the time so I sent her this movie, knowing she would love it. It is a cute story about love for animals

We loved all the dogs and we have a Boston Terrier. Fun and exciting to see the Hotel come to shape to house all the homeless dogs. We all wish more people would adopt and give good homes to homeless pets. We did not get to watch this one when it first came out at the Theater. We love collecting movies about pets.
We are happy with this DVD and plan to keep it. Very good story and I recommand it to all age groups.

What a Greta Movie-for Families, Kids & Adults! I bought this Movie for My 2 Nieces ( Ages 5Yrs. & 10Yrs. ) Well My Son & I watched it & were in Awe of how CUTE & this was! Hotel For Dogs shows Kids of ALL Ages that You can do anything You put Your Mind to! This Movie teaches about caring for animals & what they need from US, Humans! Way to Go! If You haven't seen this yet, then go out & get it TODAY! :)

My daughter LOVED this movie! The dogs are very entertaining, the resourcefulness of the kids funny.

I thought the movie was very "kid friendly". There was no vulgarity, no sex scenes, and not as much violence as some movies. It had a good theme, and the underlying message was well done. The movie was about dogs, but really it was about those who are lost, with no family or possibly abandoned, both dogs and children.

The thing I didn't like was the ways that the children took things to crate the Hotel for Dogs. It might show other children that stealing is permissible if it is for a good cause. They did have to face the consequences of their actions though. I purchased the movie for my nephew's 5th birthday. When he received it, I watched it with him since I hadn't seen it. I was a little hesitant about getting it for him since it was a PG rating, but now I am glad I did buy it. It was a cute movie.
