Got this as part of a lot of PC games. This one is the GREAT FIND of the month for our family. This review is based on watching my young children play - I don't usually get to take a turn.
Begins with a story mode bla bla bla ... than you get to drive!
This is like an arcade style driving game, not a simulation style. Also not an off-road or closed circut racing game either. It is an arcade style racer through the streets. Also has a battle mode, (very fun alone and even better with an extra controller hooked up).
I compare this to San Francisco Rush 2049 on the Sega Dreamcast. You drive through the streets of a colorful and detailed city. Controls are tight, (we use a Logitech game pad). Feels like you are cruising fast. Sound effects are great. Some modifications to your car can be made including unlockable features. Between missions there is some FMV that gives you hints and tells you your next mission. Wipe outs and crashes are FUN! You can pick up or outfit your vehicle with weapons to blast enemies or items in your way.
Way fun. Wish I could justify getting the kids off the computer so I could play their game.
