What could you expect from a communist musical?
) 
I bought this on the suggestion of a German professor, who proclaimed it to be wonderful. Basically, the communists in the GDR were a bit rusty at making musicals, because this one is definitely not as stellar as Grease or Les Mis. Although the plot is very scattered and the communist mentality obvious, just for the songs the DVD is worth buying.
