My brother and I with the help of Mom and Dad wrote this review as part of our homework assignment.
It’s our belief that Ms. Bryant wrote these books because she loves horses and writing children’s books.
The theme is girls and their horses.
The thesis of the book illustrates a group of friends though not perfect - in the end still have good moral character whether they’re in private or involved in some social events.
The author makes use of words to describe the characters and their settings because there are no illustrations. She tells a story through the use real-life-like situations and then narrates the story line in order to illustrate good moral standing.
Pros. So far we find that most of Ms. Bryant’s books have happy and joyful stories about girls and their horses.
Cons. Some of her books are boarding because the story line is too much about the girl’s relationships and not enough about the lessons and the horses. And a few of her books even have sad stories.
Overall the spelling, grammar and punctuation are good, but I have come across sentences that repeat two of the same words and a few quotation marks are sometimes left off.
The parent’s (us) summary: It’s a wonderful series of moralistic fictional books that takes one on a good emotional journey through the lives of some friends who love social riding events as much as their horses.
Thank you for reading our review! Hope you enjoy the books as much as we did and still do!
