Hoover H3000 Pros & Cons

I love how it works when it is working correctly. I have a friend who bought one and I loved her so much I got one. I have R-Arthritis and mopping is horrible for me. This made cleaning the floors a breeze and the drying time is cut by at least 2/3's. It is also much quicker and required no rinsing.
The 1st problem was the floor cleaner that came with both of ours was by lysol and worked really great, but after buying one replacement it couldn't be found anywhere by either of us. It also came with a seperate hard wood cleaner. Well, now the only available product is produced by Hoover and is a one for all. It doesn't do nearly as good a job. A lot of the time I use nothing but water with a little vinegar in it.
The other problem is that my friends quit shutting off the cleaning brushes during the drying cycle. It seems to work at first, but when it gets a little warm the switch doesn't work properly. She had not had it but a few months. Mine has a problem with the cleaner container. It doesn't sit in tight enough to push down the release button to allow the water to flow when I pull the trigger. I have to tie twine around it or try to hold it with one hand while cleaning with the other. The cleaner container seems to fit in tight and the amount of play is minute, but just enough that contact isn't made securely. I've looked at it and am trying to figure a way to correct this problem, but as to date haven't. I live on a fixed income and this was really an extra for me and I cannot replace it.
It's a shame they haven't made this product a little sturdier because when working properly is a geat item. The price would have you expect a more dependable product.
