Honeywell (HZ-341BL) Ceramic Radiator Heater

I just want to say that I purchased 2 of these heaters. 1 for my friend and 1 for myself. I purchased them as they seemed like a good deal. My friends was fine and I believe we received them in good time?? I honestly can't remember but I don't remember thinking they took a long time. BUT, and this is a BIG BUT, these were free shipping, when my heater was defective I asked about the S & H charges and stated I felt I should not be responsible for them. Instead of them saying we are sorry for the trouble you now have to go through, they said instead, If you purchased it froma store they wouldn't pay for your gas or tolls. Yeah that is true, but the reason I purchased these from them is because they were a good deal with free shipping, but now having to go through the trouble of having to ship it back and also now I am paying shipping to them, it has become not such a good deal. I really don't like their attitude and will not purchase anything from them again and will tell everyone with on the sound of my voice to be aware if they ever consider purchasing from their website. Also as I told them after recieving their unconsiderate response, I have been off work for over a year and living on about 300.00 per month. That is why I have to search for good deals. These people would rather lose a customer over such a small issue, you never know what will happen when it becomes a larger issue. I just know I will never be in that situation with them. Right out of the box, the heater works. Good strong fan, reliable oscillation, remote works very well, it shuts off immediately with tipping on its side. However, as with every other review of this item, please note that the thermostat is worthless. If it's in the thermostat mode it shuts off within minutes. That's because the thermostat is located in the front of the fan near the heating element. It figures that because the front of the fan is hot, the room is hot, and so it shuts off. Worthless. Making it more worthless, and a little unsafe, is that the 'program to shut off' where you can have the fan shut off between 1-10 hours after turning it on . . . is linked to the thermostat! So if you program it to shut off in 3 hours, it will shut off in 2 minutes because of the screwball thermostat! If you are OK with simply running it in manual mode (i.e. on or off) and having a good remote for it, you're fine. If you need the thermostat or program auto-off, buy something else.

So far nothing's going wrong. Sells a bit bad at the begining, but heat up really fast. Can only use in small rooms. A little bit noisy. Anyway, I just use it temporarily to keept my feet warm in the winnter, or before the heating system start working.

Good Heater, good features, especially fact that it is thermostat controlled, programmable and oscillates. Very reasonably priced.

This is a great product. It is simple and easy to use and does does what it's supposed to do well. The only down I'd say is the noise of it's internal blower fan. Apart from the fan buzz, it is a great heater.

This is one awsome heater. I pluged it in just to try everything out and it had warmed the whole room just while I was playing with it. I put it in our master bedroom it keeps the whole room toasty and thats on the low setting. No more cold walks to the bathroom when I get up in the morning. This heater is very easy to use just set the temperature that you want put it on oscillate and you're done. Warmth has never been so easy it even has a remote so you dont have to get up to change settings. I like this heater so much and was so impressed with it performance and ease of use I ordered a second one. This is a great buy for anyone weather you need a little more warmth for comfort or use it as your primary heat its worth every penny.

This little heater works like its 10 times bigger. Heating 2 big, open rooms on its on. Will need another to boost it's coverage come zero weather, but I expected that and planned accordingly.

I have 2 smaller heaters, for smaller rooms. This heater puts out alot more heat.

It warms up a small room pretty nicely. Don't expect it work in a large area. The only complaint is that it is a bit noisy but I think all of them do.

I got this heater for my office, our heating system is just terrible and this is the perfect heater to remedy the problem. The small and light weight heater is ideal to place under a desk, much like I have to keep me warm on those cold days. And to make it even better the remote prevents me from ever having to go under my desk to turn on/off or even adjust the controls of the heater, all of it can be done from the remote!
Before I took this to the office I tested it at home in my bedroom and I was rather impressed, I may buy another one for my home use.

This product is great on my energy bill, and it really heats up the small room I use it in. The feature I really enjoy is the oscillation, that way it heats up the entire room in minutes and not in hours. It's small in size, so I can take it from room to room, or when I go visit family, and come summer time, I can store it in the garage and not take up tool space.

IF you are looking for value for money and protection with 5 years warranty in a ceramic heater with timer and remote, then this is the item. Over and above it comes with free shipping. After all its honeywell brand.

Review Based on bedroom use. Fan is loud enough to be annoying. Remote does not have a display nor is it lighted making night time control difficult at best.
The unit short cycles (heater off 5 to 10 minutes on for 5 to 10 seconds at best). Daytime use would be just fine unit is well built a does produce plenty of heat if set to constant on.

I love this heater.It oscillates back and forth (if you want it to),is safe,has digital readout,you can set the temperature at whatever you want it shuts on and off automatically.Best of all you can do all this by wireless remote control!It's a Honeywell so you know it's a great product.
It's our second one.Best heater I have ever owned period and Ebay is definitely the best place to buy it from !
