Lets face it.... cars are a luxury, therefore an expense. The simple fact is, no matter how you look at it, even if your car runs perfect all the time, you still have to put gas in it to make it go. Expense! But who's car runs perfect all the time? If you have one, let me know so I can get one too! But honestly, at some point in time your car needs some attention. Whether it is the simple oil change, brakes, or something more difficult, wouldn't it be nice to do it yourself as opposed to shelling out a bunch of cash to have someone else do it for you? The Haynes line of repair manuals are perfect for the novice level and up do it yourselfers! Not only do they put the tasks in an easy to understand text, they use excellent photographs to accompany the written repair. Making this a extremely valuable asset to someone with a little motivation to save themselves some hard earned money!

I would get the official honda repair/service manual, this lacks some details.

The book covers different models so most instructions are generic and unspecific. It's a lot better than nothing though, if you can't get a hold of the official, go for this, the price is cheap.

i probably saved myself three to four hundred dollars by finding the problem myself. i followed the giude and found the main fuel relay was bad. i did not even know were it was till i got the book.
