I like that it was sent so quickly and there were no problems with the shipping, I love that the book was in great condition. I'm a great fan of Calvin and Hobbes and I had the book when I was younger but lost them so I decided to order them on ebay.

What I love the most about this book is what I love about all of Bill Watterson's work and that is, it puts me in a good mood every time I read it! Who wouldn't find something to laugh out loud about when the material is all about a precocious little kid and his imaginary stuffed tiger? I've sat down in front of the bookshelves in the public library just to indulge in a "Calvin and Hobbes" fix when I've uncovered a book that I haven't read in a while. What fun!!

) Bill Watterson put the best of his talent and humor into every cartoon he writes, draws, and brings each character to life with thier own color and amazingly funny or quirky personnality. His work should be one of those things you pass down to your kids so they can laugh and see what good cartooning is and enjoy his work as you have. if there isn't a statue dedicated to Bill Watterson somewhere there should be. ) I bought it for a Father's Day Present for my dad for Father's Day this year. I liked the cheap price, but I didn't like that it didn't get there in time to give it to him on Father's Day. It also looked kinda beat up when it arrived but still was fine.

homicidal jungle cati love the wry humor. also that to him the tiger is real to others he is stuuffed. calvin is very much a normal boy but watterson added a sweet pschopathic edge to him.
