Need a Lift? Even little miracles are still miracles!

This is a wonderful movie.....a must see! The entire family watched without uttering a peep....it's the kind of movie you don't want to end! We need more movies like this to remind us all that being successful and victorious in life doesn't require us to pound the other guy.

Actors Nick Cornish, Lacey Chabert and Terry O'Quinn will steal your hearts with their sincere and outstanding performances! I wish Lacey wasn't so afraid of being stereotyped by playing roles like that of her character Rachel....she is so good at being good! This is a true "Down Home" movie that made me feel like I was part of the hometown crowd cheering in the bleachers!

All in ALL......Keep both eyes wide open....but keep a tissue handy!

Good, wholesome movie for the entire family. Found it by accident at the local Blockbuster. We enjoyed it so much, that I bought a copy to show at school were I teach. Kids were riveted to story and could identify with the characters.

Dynamite Movie, one all ages would enjoy!
Review created: 09/23/08

This film is full of explosive action, a miniscule of drama and a heartwarming plot that will steal the hearts of anyone who sits down to watch it! This is the type of movie individuals known as the post-baby boomers and the elderly would enjoy because it speaks volumes of how simple life used to be. I highly suggest purchasing this movie because once you see it, you'll want to watch it over and over again.

  Good Wholesome Faith-Based Entertainment

The movie was wholesome, but had a couple of bad words in it, so if watching with children, be aware. It also taught a trust in God and He will take care of you and answer prayer, but not always the way you like it. It has a lot of good football action (as you can expect) and will really appeal to Southern people (I am Southern) because of strong community and high school football being important and the perils and pleasures of living in a small town. Everyone also has strong Southern accents (it takes place in Alabama). The cinematography and acting was good, especially for a faith-based film.

  Unravels pretty good
Review created: 02/12/07

Jerry B Jenkins, author of the popular Left Behind books series, delivers a rousing, stand up on the bleachers and cheer story of a small towns desperate fight for survival.

Athens is a little town on its last legs. The town's high school is about to be closed down and their once mighty football team hasn't had a winning season in twelve years since a tragedy struck and the couach retired. When that same legendary football coach returns for one final season, he brings a glimmer of hope to the Crusaders.

Now, as the team rekindles its will to win, a rebellious young player and the girl he loves will discover the power of faith, and an entire town will get one last chance at redemption as teh action races to its breathtaking, down to the wire finish.

I enjoyed the movie, and the outcome, goes to show, there is more to life than what were taught!
