Remember the times you had to have dinner with the family and you didn't want to see the crazy aunt and the anal sister who thinks she knows everything and let us not forget the gay bother who everyone thinks he brought his boy friend.Lets not forget mom who's going out of her mind. Get the picture you'll love it it's a hilarious time!

I looked forward to watching this movie every Thanksgiving. It makes other family holidays seem boring, and then it is a lot like real families holidays. I love this movie and it was not on anything but pay channels this year so I decided to get my own copy so I don't have to hope a channel is showing it. And when I miss the holidays, I watch this movie and it still makes me laugh and makes me look forward to all the holiday movies. I think I got a good price on it compared to other places I looked. It could not be beat on price.

I bought this movie because I wanted to show my daughter (14 yrs old) Robert Downey Jr. when he was young. She loved the movie but I need express shipping next time. The movie quality was excellent even thought it was used.

Robert Downey Jr., Holly Hunter and all the rest of the cast are amazing in this movie. It has all the great scenes where the father tries to eat some pie before the big day, Holly Hunter finds out her daughter is about to sleep with her boyfriend for the first time and Holly Hunter also looses her job right before coming home. Dylan Mcdermot is amazing. This is probably one of the movies that has the best on screen kiss every. A MUST SEE!

It's in Good Condition. Have Been looking for this movie at a low price for a long time. Glad I was able to find it here.

This was not a fun holiday movie. At every level there was disfunctional family episodes that were revealed in flashback etc.

Disjointed and miss use of all the problems each member was carrying around just under their skin.

The core idea was great but the way it was preented left you the viewr tho fill in the gaps.

I would never recommend this DVD to anyone.

This is an awesome holiday comedy ... definitely one to consider as a classic. Packed with hoolariousness with some of the biggest stars of our times. Who doesn't love Ann Bankroft?

I chose to purchase Home for the Holidays because it's a movie my mom, sister, and I always watch around Thanksgiving. I just moved out on my own and figured I needed to have it on DVD for myself. It's a great movie. It's funny and I think almost any family could find something they relate to in it. It's not a happy, happy holiday movie. It's about how family drama impacts holidays. Holly Hunter and Robert Downy Jr. (along with pretty much the entire rest of the cast) are GREAT in it. It's hilarious...I highly recommend it. You should know that there are sexual references, crass humor, and language in it...like I said, not necessarily a heart warming holiday movie for the whole family.

This movie has become a Thanksgiving classic in our DVD collection. It is hilarious and is relatable in many ways. Jodi Foster should direct more comedy films. I love it!

I loved this movie, because it accurately depicts everyday family drama that has been rolled up into one Thanksgiving weekend.

Robert Downey Jr. gives an outstanding performance! The characters remind me of my own terrible Thanksgiving holidays with the family. This is definately one worth owning!

Loved this movie - was a great family story that everyone should watch. Tells the story of a young single mother returning home to visit her family for Thanksgiving and all the things that happen during her visit with her siblings, parents and aunt. I could relate to many of the things she went through so really enjoyed watching.

Just goes to show how every family iis dysfuntional in some way or another!

Funny movie, you can find your family members in the characters. My sister has been wanting me to watch this for years and we finally had a family night and watched it. We rolled the whole time.

I loved this movie! It exposes the weird habits of families that no one wants anyone to know. So many hidden skelatons in everyones family closets. They are exposed in one family holiday with a lot of love, compassion, humor & understanding. Not just based on a one sided opinion. Buy the movie for yourself as I certainly enjoyed it. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!!

My family loves this movie. It's so funny, it has become a true holiday favorite. The family dynamics are a bit odd at times, but just about everyone should be able to relate to the characters in this movie.

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this movie at Thanksgiving/Christmas time. Granted it's not your typical happy go lucky movie, but that's it's charm. It's about a real family & the issues they face when coming together at the Holiday Season. WATCH IT!

I LOVE this movie.... It is super funny my sister and i watch it every year at least twice at once at thanksgiving and again at christmas... I think it prepares us for our relatives... Try it !!!
