I like good country music, and that is what you get here. A nice mix of several singers. Decided to buy it because I didn't want to watch the movie everytime I wanted to hear the music!!

) This is one of Walt Disney's best soundtracks! For a person who was very skeptical about purchasing the movie, I certainly was convinced of its excellence after viewing it. Of course I've watched it a million times and finally bought the soundtrack. Because it is "Home on the Range," with the stage set in the old west, the music is mainly of the country genre, with vocals by well known artists. It has several upbeat songs as well as a few slow and thoughtful ones, with excellent instrumentals as well. But the yodeling has to be our family's favorite! My kids love to play the music and run around the house to the yodeling song as they sing along! I love this soundtrack! Walt Disney pictures really nailed this one! Hats off to them!
