Home Movies - Season Three (DVD, 2005, 3-Disc Set/ CD Included)

I love Home Movies and I was determined to own all four seasons so that I could sit for hours and watch episode after episode. The more I got into the seasons, the more I learned the characters and the more they cracked me up! It isn't slap stick, it doesn't focus on violence, it is more the humor of everyday life, and of the little neurotic symptoms that every human has. The relationship between Brendan and his friends, teachers, coach and mother are all very different and I think the writers, Lauren and Brendan, did a magnificant job creating Brendan Small the character. I am so serious. If I have a son some day I only hope he can be as witty, tenacious and brilliant as this fictional cartoon child. Is that crazy? If you yourself are an intelligent human being who finds humor in your everyday relationships, then give Home Movies a try. Hey! If you don't like it, just resell it on Ebay! There is still demand for these DVDs.

This series, foolishly ended, is absolutely hysterical! If you haven't watched seriously, you are missing a great show! It's also a good candidate for any psych class analyze. Brendan Small is a genius, and if you haven't gotten season four yet, I won't ruin it for you here. Buy it for yourself, and as a gift for anyone with a sense of humor.

Everything I've grown to love about this series stays true with the installment of the third season. Adult Swim should be thanked for giving this series life after UPN nearly killed it.

Home Movies is one of the greatest TV shows ever. Season 3 is a huge part of what makes it great, the animation is much improved, and the show is just so very funny!
