More than a decade and a half after the overplayed smash "Achy Breaky Heart" transformed Billy Ray Cyrus almost overnight from a budding country music superstar to a mulleted punch line, HOME AT LAST is a worthy comeback album. Better known these days as an actor and the father of tween star Miley Cyrus (aka television character turned pop star Hannah Montana) and long since having shorn the offending haircut, Cyrus has maintained a small but steady presence on the country music scene. HOME AT LAST is rooted in country, but the majority of the album consists of pop standards ranging from Carole King's "You've Got A Friend" to "Over the Rainbow." Those expecting "Achy Breaky Redux" will be pleasantly surprised.
