Very helpful for those of us in need of remedial landscaping
instruction. My yard looks much improved and my plants are alive.

This book was full of great landscaping ideas that are easy to understand for the novice landscaper. It helped me identify plants that grow well in each of four seasons. One of the highlights of this book are the excellent renderings of the designs.

What I disliked about the book was that is was not specifically catered to Texas or the Southern Region. I expected the book to provide more details on this region.

I liked this book because it gave you great ideas on plant placement and especially for sunny vs. shady conditions. The only thing missing is information on which plants are deer resistant. We have lots of deer in our neighborhood.
