Home Free- Fogelberg, Dan
I first heard this recording back around 1974 or 75 and it really attracted me to the music of Fogelberg, although it was the souvignier album that especially made me become a fan of Dan. This time around, I actually got to hear the music in this recording the way it was really recorded. The quality, back in the 70's on the cassettes and records was poor compared to the digitally remastered CD. This paticular record of Fogelberg shows his country side of music and the beginnings of his songwriting abilities. It has a definite country flare, along with much acoustic guitar, steel and slide guitar, and even some folkish style. A great start, for a great songwriter.
