I like the Chicks the way I like Linda Rondstadt...there ain't much they can do that sounds bad to me. They really went all the way with the Bluegrass sound here, not giving a hoot about what the mainstream "country-music" is supposed to be. If you like your country canned, this one isn't for you. If you like their voices and their harmonies(wow, does Natalie ever holler one up in track #1); if you like more challenging instrumental breaks; if you like your lyrics original and thought-provoking, then you will LOVE this CD. For every neglected wife or daughter, there's the song "Top of the World" that'll make you cry the first several times you listen to it. For the mad hen in all of us, there's Truth No. 2.: "I might get to the end of my life and find out everyone was lyin'...I don't think that I'm afraid anymore; I'd say that I would rather die tryin'." And of course, Travelin' Soldier was a big Patriotic Hit. "I Believe in Love" hits home for me, and it's one I love to sing to....obviously, I highly recommend this CD. I bought it because it's by the Dixie Chicks. I love it because it's original.

THIS ALBUM BY THE DIXIE CHICKS IS, IN MY OPINION, THEIR BEST ALBUM EVER. IT IS A HOMEAGE TO TRADITIONAL COUNTRY/BLUEGRASS MUSIC. LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!

ONLY MUSIC I CONSIDER COUNTRY. SO TIRED OF THE WHINY "YOU BROKE MY HEART AND STOLE MY TRUCK AND SCREWED MY DOG BULLCRAP"REFRESHING TO HEAR SOME BITCHES WHO ROCK!!!!

Love this cd,it was one of the best albums the DIXIE CHICKS ever produced!every song on this cd is brilliant,they all tell a story,they're easy to relate to, so it's very hard to pick a favourite!But i would have to say that i love"Godspeed",";I believe in love" and of course "Travelin'Soldier" the best!!i bought this cd to replace the previous one i bought here in australia some years back,as that one got misplaced somehow.But thanks to REDTAG i am able to cherish it once again!Pam,Australia.

I purchased this CD for a friend. I have heard it before and it has many great songs on it. It is easy to listen to the entire CD all the way through. The Dixie Chicks are getting better and better!

i feel the music is great. but the singing is grose and agonizing! i would rather hear a coyote howel than listen to porkey in the middle.

"Home" is possibly the best country music CD that I have listened to since Lyle Lovett. I own all of the Dixie Chicks' albums, and Home is by far their best. Not a weak song on the entire cd, and many memorable songs like "Long Time Gone", "Travelling Soldier", "Truth #2", "White Trash Wedding", and the incredible "I Believe in Love" where Natalie's voice is truly amazing. It is rare in country music for a artists to write their own songs, play instruments, and produce quality music. The Dixie Chicks are without peer in this regard, and I highly recommend this cd. You will be glad to have this in your collection. To not listen to the Dixie Chicks for political reasons will be your loss.

I love the song Landslide & the Dixie Chicks sing it like no one else could. If you like their music you'll love this CD. Ebay has it at a great price.

Songs are diverse & a great mix of fast & slow. I love the harmonies... One of their best CD's. The lullaby is absolutely amazing... <3

Step aside for awhile Stevie,the dixie chicks are about to play "landslide".Then Ill cry During "Travelin Soldier" & dance thru "White trash Wedding". Its impossible to be board, when at "Home" with the Dixie Chicks.

The CD is great and reason for buying is that I'm just getting into country and I always liked the Dixie Chicks and now was a good time to buy and start a country collection

It was "never opened" and you couldn't possibly get it any cheaper than I paid. Very happy with the quality of the product, the communication from the vendor and we enjoy listening to it!

There wasnt one song I didnt like on the whole CD. This is my favorite out of all of them they have made. Some fast, some slow. After a few times listening, I knew all the words by heart. This is actally the second copy I had to buy due to wearing out my first copy. If you are a fan of the Dixie Chicks and dont have this CD yet, buy it, you wont be sorry.

The Dixie Chicks are my wife favorite group and she really thinks they are a super band. The ebayer who I purchased it off of was a super person and got it back to me in a timely manner. And we got our feedback in a timely manner also. this ebayer desevers a gold star.And we are hoping we can do business with them again.

This CD is just like every CD they ever release the same old thing song after song. I bought it because of all the hype about thier album via the award shows.
