I LOVE THIS CD. I have been a fan of Neil Diamond's since I was 19 yrs. old. I am about 2 yrs. younger than Neil. I saw Neil on T.V. on several programs advertising his new CD and I just had to have it. It is very down to earth type of music and singing for Neil. It's like he sang and played guitar many years ago. He sings with just a few instruments in the background and not the big orchestra that he had a few years ago. I found it very relaxing in my busy and sometimes stressful life. Well worth the price of the CD. Loved it. Loved it. Loved it.

Not an CD that you will find very exciting. This is a good CD for background music at gathering of middle aged adults.

everysong Neil sang in Concert in Chicago is on this cd. Price was good, feedback was good, buying it online here-lot cheaper than the stores!

There is not ONE BAD THING to say about Neil Diamond...I mean, IS THERE???? He is always GREAT! And I HAD to get his newest album...PLEASE!!! That's all there is to say! It was wonderful....

I saw a couple of interviews with Neil Diamond talking about the songs he wrote for this album plus I heard him performing 2 or 3 of them. This album appealed to me because it seemed it would be like a glimpse inside the heart and mind of Neil....and it doesn't disappoint! I think this is the mature Neil Diamond whose life experiences erupted into songs!

I just saw Neil Diamond in concert.He is amazing still.Music seems to flow out of his body.I was in awe of his talent.I really enjoyed this cd.

I will admit to be a big Neil Diamond fan, there I said it. However, this CD fell really short of the Neil Diamond I have come to expect. I have always loved his storytelling style in a song, but in the songs on this CD it is like he is trying to put the entire contents of War and Peace into a 3.5 minute song. Guess I will go back to my old Neil CD's and reminisce. Seller was totally awesome though, received item lighten fast.

The man is icredible and so is this recording.
How many others can come back, so many years later, and hit it right-on with new tunes.

i enjoy buying and selling on ebay but when I set up this account, I had just separated and did not have access to a computer and forgot about this purchase. When I signed on and found out, I tried to contact the seller immediately so I could pay them directly but they never responded. So I had to set up a paypal account and it took 2 weeks to do because I never set it up in the beginning. Thru the whole time, I contacted the seller numerous times to no avail. He eventually got paid and I received the CD but he gave me a bad review and I am discouraged about continuing to buy and sell on ebay because now it will always be on there as a bad purchase when actually it was bad timing for me to get a separation at that time. My other account on ebay was 100% perfect rating but I broke up with him so now I need my own account. Can you help? thanks Joann

I decided to buy this after seeing Neil Diamond on American Idol. I have been a BIG fan of his and have even enjoyed hearing his music at a bar in the Dominican. However,I was extremely disapointed in this new adventure. Each song seemed to have the same melody and beat. It was so BORING. YAWN!

Below Average for Neil Diamonds potential. It seems (my opinion) he is cutting costs on additional musical instruments that made so many of his standards popular! Even disappointed with the duet number, just not compatible with his voice. I might add I am a Neil Diamond fan, but this CD is over rated.

i paid for this item,never got it,got a refund from seller then seller filed a unpaid item on me. bad seller

I had ordered this cd and was wondering what happened to it. The seller emailed me back tell me one of his workers that was responsable for packing the item for some reson mine never got packed and shipped. He fealt so bad this had happened and reasured me that I would recieve it the next day he would put a rush on it. I thought ya right. But to my surprise it did arrive the next day. This puts my belief in sellers who give me there word. You dont see this often, but I am happy I ran across one honest seller. His word is 5********** A grautfull and happy customer.

It is very Neil Diamond. Some of his best. Puts you in a thoughtful relaxed mood. This is 12 very enjoyable songs. I especially like it because it is he and his guitar and his music. No loud concert sounds and applause. Good cuts. Goes right into the next song. Glad I got it.

I bought this CD because I have loved Neil Diamond's music since I was a teenager. Frankly, I wasn't disappointed. I have watched his music evolve from teeny-bopper style, happy go lucky to a more serious form, and I must have grown up too. It is typical Neil Diamond style of writing: this CD has some very "deep" songs, and some that also seem self-retrospective. Refreshing to listen to "real music" and songs that one can contemplate the words... It is sometimes somber and unless one is ready for a somber "Neil Diamond CD", then this one is not for you. But if you love listening to the words and their meaning along with new music, then go there!

I love Neil Diamond music..but not this CD.
I don't think the songs are up to his standard.
I hope his next album is better.

I am really enjoying Neil Diamonds always soothing and peaceful voice - this is a great addition to any music collection -

All the songs are the same style. They blend together in one coninuos song. I love Neil Diamond, with the exception of Saving Grace, the CD is a dud.

Easy to listen to music. His new song Truly Amazing Grace is very good and reminds me of some of his older songs. Great melody.

Neil Diamond may have aged but his music still comes on strong. There is something for any musical taste on this CD. The ultimate performer shows "he's still got it!" I enjoyed it completely.

Awesome! Neil Diamond, at his best. A great edition for my collection of his music.I loved the booklet that came with the cd, explained the songs ,and the man behind them.I think it sums up, a long career for a very talented man.
