I love this Bible because it give two versions in one book. The NIV is the most popular used for Bible studies and the Message delivers a today's language kind of thing that I can relate to if I don't understand how the NIV is delivering it. I have bought one for my sister and one for my dad now because I think everyone should have one to help understand the word of God.

THE BIBLE WAS GREAT, A GIFT FOR MY SON. ARRIVED FAST. THANK YOU.I WILL USE THIS SIGHT AGAIN. I LOVE DIFFERENT VERSION OF THE HOLY WORD TO HELP WITH UNDERSTANDING.I AM A TEACHER SO I NEED TO BE ABLE TO TEACH ON A LEVEL FOR EVERYONE AGES THREE TO ONE HUNDRED AND THREE. THANK YOU AGAIN.

The Pros; I enjoy the way the scriptures are side by side and that this version of the Message is numbered. Both versions are easy to read and great for "Bible Beginners" as well as those who just prefer the newer contemporary language of the Message and NIV. This Bible is a great tool for a daily reading program.
The Cons; I would have liked to have a topical index or dictionary with numbered references. I would not use this version as a study Bible since it would require that I carry a separate concordance for scripture reference.
