Zondervan paperback Amplified Bible

I love this Bible! It is a great addition to my New King James Version when I do my Bible studies and I highly recommend it to anyone who is serious when studying. Very inexpensive. The print is quite small, and not a problem for me, but you can find larger print Amplified Bibles if you use this particular translation regularly or if it would be your primary Bible.

) I have found that if a person is serious about Bible Study simply must have an amplified bible. This bible gives the hebrew and greek definitions of the entire bible verse by verse. I have to admit that it is not an easy read,but if your are intent on studying the bible, it is vital that you get the translations and definitions from the original texts. It really doesn't matter what faith you are, we as a whole are dutybound to really understand what each word is saying. Apart from the risk of over-analyzing which is incorrect, or getting lost in a concordance, though wise to have but may be discouraging. The amplified provides a practical and easy to understand approach to bible study. I pray that each person who gets an amplified bible will find the content as helpful in your study as it has been in mine.

It contains a pretty extensive index listing passages which contain certain words. it also has a few maps which are helpful in Bible study. I love the descriptive language of the amplified version.. it adds so much life to the Word of God!
