Hollywoodland (DVD, 2007)

Good Storyline... But Sad.... Not A movie to watch if you are feeling down, and definitely not a family movie.

Being a baby boomer I grew up watching the Adventures of Superman on TV.

Ben Affleck really comes across as George Reeves and as Superman of the old black & white TV days.

Recommended rental DVD... not for sure for film library to put this in, as it is not a superhero comic book movie.

Great murder mystery that explores the death of TVs Superman. The story is told from two different perspectives which gives the viewer lot to follow. Overall a a artfully done movie with good special features.

A movie I wanted to see for a while & it was even better than I expected! I watched "Superman" as a child so that may have added to my interest level? Great cast & gripping story-line...worth seeing for sure!

Underrated film speculating on the death of George Reeves. Ben Affleck, usually a hack, is quite good here. Love Caroline Dhaverna from Wonderfalls who has a small roll here. I'll always beleive Reeves was murdered but the film does look at the case in a reasonable fashion

I wanted to see this movie and never had the chance to.I like history and unresolved issues this was a movie based upon both and it was at the right price.

I was disappointed because I thought more of the movie would be focused on the characters of the Superman TV show itself, including the actors who portrayed Perry White, Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen rather than the Private Investigator of George's death, and his life...
