This was the best movie I have seen it was heart felt. It was life opening! This is what can happen if you do drugs and how low it can bring you down to nothing! It is a story of courage, addiction, compassion, desperation, despair and love! Afre Woodard best performance! Worth watching!

I bought his DVD after seeing the movie on television and realizing that alot of stuff must have been cut out. When I watched it for the first time on DVD it was so emotional and raw. I felt what they felt not only because I have been in the situation that Nikki(the daughter of a drug addict)is in but because the actors in this movie are so good at making you feel it. Ving Rhames' role in this movie was by far the best I think he has ever done. He has such an amazing way of making you feel how everyday life is for a Drag Queen or Homosexual to be politically correct. Just a beautiful story of one girl's struggle to save her mother from drugs and one man's struggle to help and survive this world of prejudice!!!!

This is a movie that will make any one search within to see just how much they would be willing to help those around us. the acting is moving and very well directed.

This movie has great quality keep up the good work. the deliver was also a bit slow but sign for so it was not able to be stolen. I would like to see more movies from this person because everyone doesn't have this movies in store

This movie is not for children. Topics include drug addiction, abuse and sexual differences. I loved this movie. I had seen it before, so when I found it on ebay, I had to get it. It shows how you can't judge a book, (or person) by the cover. Ving Rhames is excellent as a drag queen with a loving heart, who reaches out to help an abused woman and her daughter. It is a interesting movie. I'd reccomend it, especially to any Ving Rhames fans.

I saw this movie on TV and wanted to be able to watch the love, acceptance, drama and comedy all rolled into one film when ever I wanted.

Ilove this movie because it has a every true story simiar to one I have had in my life about my three nephews.I had it on vhs and it take to long to rewind so I decieded to get it on dvd.

This movie will make you laugh and cry and really apreciate if you ever had a friend that you have helped or someone you just met and helped and made a diffrence in their life and your too. The art of giving comes from the heart in this movie and not ever about money. Helping this child was like a gift from God and he gets rewared in the end to have someone love him back...Great movie moves your heart in a special way....

This movie is actually a tearjerker for anyone that knows or has known people in the situations as protrayed in this movie. Mr. Rhames protrays a cross dresser and actually gives this movie the life and breaks it requires. then when you add alfie woodward in it, this whole thing gets extremely complicated and then it gives you the dramatic sides that it needs. it shows how friends can help to uplift you and how much they are willing to give to get you out of whatever situation you are in and to try and make your life better. except in this one the more the friend tried the less effect it had until tragedy struck and then it was to late. i truely recomnend this movie it should be watched by all to get a better understanding of friendship no matter who it is coming from and the life they have should not be important as long as they are trying to help you. extremely excellent movie i watched this one twice back to back, it was that good.

Actually purchaesd for a friend, this movie is waht she had wanted since it came out & was not able to find it. She loves it!!!
