This movie is a true classic. Filmed in black & white - I have loved this movie for many years, however - I never could find it on DVD...Until this last Christmas season.
When I realized it was out on DVD - I began looking immediately! I was thrilled when it arrived so quickly! I had gotten a brand new DVD - AND - it was one of my favorite movies. It arrived before Christmas. So once again I was able to continue the tradition of watching a fun Holiday themed movie - AND - I got to share it with one of my relatives who came Christmas day!
I would absolutely recommend not only this movie - but this seller!

) I actually purchased this DVD for my mother as a Christmas gift. I had been looking all over for the original for the last two years. I watched it with her on Christmas and loved it. Definately recommend this movie to anyone who loves a good Christmas movie. :)

) Although the story is set at Christmas it could in fact refer to any other special occasion as well as its theme is not to just settle for safety in life but to go out and find that which will genuinely make you happy and not to live in the past but for today. Janet Leigh, Robert Mitchum and Wendell Corey are all excellent and I even like the little boy.
