Based on Louis Sachar’s award-winning children’s book of the same name, "Holes" could be possibly one of the greatest movies I've watched in my lifetime. I remember watching this video at the movie theater as a teenager and considering the countless times I've watched this video it had never gotten old. This movie is perfect for the family and when I say perfect I mean that there are no imperfections whatsoever. The directing, camera angels, storyline - I'm absolutely speechless! This is definitely a must see regardless of your age!

I love the story and how many layers there were to it. very funny and entertaining movie. and, has a young Shia LaBouf in it, which adds to it even more.

This movie far exceeds what someone would wish their children to watch. It has qualities that we can relate to, it has funny moments that make us cry, and it has a screenplay that moves the plot line along that will keep even the longest at heart watching in anticipation of the magic that we wish for.

The acting can be corny, but you most watch it from a tween's point of view and it far exceeds what your looking for!!!

I really enjoyed the book, and decided to watch the movie when it was released. I bought a copy off of here a couple of weeks ago. The movie was in essence a good movie, but in all honesty the book was better.

Good, clean enjoyable entertainment. A great movie for the family as well. I loved the fact that it has a storyline and how friends stay true to each other. I had watch it on t.v. once, I didn't think it was going to be all that because of the title, But I'm sure glad nothing else was on, otherwise I may have missed out on it. After watching this great movie, I think that the title fits the movie to a tee.

A film transported from the pages of a book to the big screen. Nothing is lost in this classic film. Great acting, superior cast and a story that keeps your interest. Young and old can appreciate this movie of justice prevails.

I bought this movie because My 12yr old son watched it for 2 days on the Disney channel and LOVED IT!!! but he kept missing parts, so I decided to get it for him. HE LOVES IT!!! He watches it at least onec a week. A GREAT FAMILY MOVIE!!!

Once again, I've purchased a movie so that we can do a compare and contrast activity in my fifth grade classroom. Unlike Where the Red Fern Grows, Holes, the movie, stays reasonably true to the book.

This is a fun and engaging movie that doesn't leave you scratching your head saying, "How could they do that to such a great story?" However, as with any other movie based on a book, I highly recommend reading the story before watching the movie.

My children think it is a funny video and both enjoy watching it. I bought it because my daughter thinks the guys are "hot."

I was a simple adventure which not only held my attention, but my kids wanted it for later viewing and put it in their library.
