Hogan's Heroes - The Complete First Season (DVD, 2005, 5-Disc Set)

Loved it. Included the very first episode, which is in black and white. The dvd menu is not as great as the later seasons, but it works.

I have enjoyed this set very much. I always enjoyed watching it on TV. Clumsy, good-hearted Shultz is my favorite. This is so much better than TV. You can choose when you watch it. Also, no commercials really ties the show together better. Great family investment. I highly recommend this set.

It's been a long time since they stopped running Hogan's Heroes reruns on TV. Season One was like watching for the first time. I never knew what would happen next. The Pilot episode (in B&W) was a special treat because I never knew there WAS a B&W episode. Left me wanting the whole series.

I purchased this product for a gift for my son for Christmas. I was specifically looking for older television shows that my son could enjoy. This was a used product which allowed me to get it at a much more reduced price. The shows are fantastic! Allowing my sons to see clean, wholesome shows that we enjoyed as children has given him good television time without fear of him watching undesirable content. The only downside to this purchase was that the case the product came in was a little worn. Although the seller did mention that it had some wear, it might have been nicer if a picture would have been included to show the wear detail. Otherwise, I feel I was given a great product at a fantastic price!

I love this season. It is one of my favorites. Hogans heroes is about 5 men stuck in a german POW camp called stalag 13. They are under the watchful eye of komadant klink the dumb colnel and overseer. They also have a great guard by the name of Shultz who, in a way aid Hogan and his men in sending london secret german missions. Funny show way woth the money, lots of laughs buy it its worth it.

DVD arrived quickly in great shape. An excellent portion of a wonderfully funny television program. My suggestion is that ALL should see and love this great tv sitcom of the past! Remember "I saw nothing and I heard nothing".

This dvd set will keep you laughing, it takes a tragic time in history and really makes the nazi bastards look like the complete and utter fools that they should be portrayed in.

This is a great show! My husband and I are starting a family and only want to own good clean movies. These are awesome show's and are funny no matter how many times you watch them. What a great plot: a group of POW's that help other prisoners escape from other prison camps, or doing damage to Germany. Very funny, a great way to lift your spirits.

It's going to be a Christmas gift for my sister.
She loves the show. We are both a real big fan of old time television. Myself I like Andy Griffith, Get Smart, Mash, etc. Sit-coms these days don't hold water to the classics.

Just what I remembered about the tv series- great, a bygone era of funny TV that lives on in DVD form. Better quality than when originally shown.

I watched them growing up and they still great to watch. To be socially sensitive in this era, Take them for what they are worth, they are entertainment.

In looking for programs that are appropiate to be seen by my ll year old daughter, I remembered watching this series and looked on EBay to find it. It is fun and clean (which is hard to find today). I'm sure anyone would enjoy watching Hogan's Heroes.

Funny stuff:I remember when it was on TV: But you would have to be age: (40+)to understand some of the histoiral jokes.

I got the movie faster than I expected. It said USPS so I figured a week or two and I got it in a few days once it shipped.

Very funny - wish the current batch of Hollywood writers were clever enough to write and create a series of equal quality.

Very refreshing to see something you can laugh at with out alot of immorality in it . No swearing , no bed scenes ex. Unlike what you see today.

It was great to see these wonderful series from my childhood. My 10 year old son also loved them. It was nice to see him enyoy something besides cartoons. He tells me all about Sgt. Shultz and "I know nothing!" I would call these classic humor! Need a good laugh and to pick up your spirits, try these. You can watch one episode and not have to be tied to a movie for 2 hours.

Have great memories about the Hogan's Heroes TV shows. Our family wanted to relive the great shows.
