This hardcover collector's edition Hobbit is very beautiful and a pleasure just to look at on your shelf.

If you are one of the minority who have not read this treasured tale, you must get this book in some form. I'd say borrow it fromthe library, but save yourself a trip and purchase it. It is a story you will want to share with your kids and may revisit yourself in the future.

The story is a classic and suitable for any age. The timeless tale of the adventures of Bilbo Baggins, a hobbit of the Shire, who sets out on an adventure with a wizard and band of racous dwarves to become worldly, wise and one of the most important people in all of Middle-Earth. There is much great adventure within the covers of this book and you will be taken away to a much more majestic world with fantastic creatures and events.

Tolkien is truly a master of the tale and has created a beautiful world, with incredibly complex characters, beautiful languages, rituals and grandeur. To look at the work alone is amazing at the amount of energy adn brilliance needed to create such a fantastic masterpiece.
