The Hobbit (Xbox, 2003)

I know the game says for xbox, but most games are compatible on xbox 360. I have Fable which is for xbox and it works great on my 360. Just miscommunication in my case. I should have asked if it was compatible with the 360. Seller still gets five stars in my book.

I bought the game because I loved the book and it was expensive ,so I wanted to see what the game was like.It's a good game for a child.It's not for a adult.You pretty much just walk around in the storyline and use your A button.

Bought it, never opened or played it yet, factory sealed looks great.

I purchased this game for my son. He enjoys playing it. He says the graphics are just ok, but it works well.

i really enjoy playing the game. its a great game if u like exploring and broad level expanses. it has to be one of my favourite games. it doesn't just include one thing but a variaty such as puzzles, fighting, exploring and much more. good graphics. defeinetly 2 thumbs up. i recomend it but its more of a kid game.

If you are someone looking for a nice, safe, nothing violent game, for you or your kids, this is the one.
Bilbo Baggins begins his journey to the Lonely Mountain in the Shire, where you will have a "precious" time gathering what he needs to begin travelling. You will remember King's Quest at this stage.
But as you advance, it get's better and more interactive, with fighting and getting through tough stuff to help Bilbo get to Smaug the Dragon. Lots of trasures, Sting, Trolls, Gollum, and jewels and coins.
The graphics are "lovely", not very sophisticated but they go well with the theme, a fairy tale for kids. For grown ups, well, we're used to much much more now, but trust me, you will have a good time anyway.
The down-side and the reason why I gave it a Good rating and not an excellent: it's a one-player game. I would've really liked to play along some friend, Gandalf or one of the dwarves, but then again, the true story develops around one character, Bilbo.
Specially since we don't have a movie out yet, having The Hobbit X-game, is the closest you get to Bilbo's Middle Earth, and is lovely.

Great game! It has many different levels and takes a while to complete the game. It is fun to try the different quests that Bilbo has to accomplish. He also gets stronger as the game goes on with more skills. My 7 year old really likes the game. He likes Lord of the Rings, but isn't allowed to play the LOTR T games, so this is a nice alternative for him since it is rated E. It is a little hard in some parts for my 5 year old.
