) I've always liked Mel Tillis's singing but never could find a cd that was comprehensive of his career. This cd captures 10 years worth of hits - 25 songs - and the sound is very clear. "Send Me Down to Tucson" has always been a favorite but this cd has a lot more. One listen makes you wonder how in the world this guy isn't already in the Country Music Hall of Fame. Also, the liner notes to this cd are very good with several color photos inside. The cd is an Australian import - comparable to some of the finer Bear Family cds. Big label domestic lables should take lessons from some of these smaller international labels.
