The Hits by REO Speedwagon (CD, Jun-1988, Epic USA)

This particular CD is what I call a "gateway cd". REO Speedwagon has many more great songs than what are on this disc. This disc only has the real good songs that were played on the radio. And all 14 songs will take you back to when you were in school dreaming about the one you had a crush on. Most of REOs songs are about life and love. It is definately like a rush of "feel good" music every time you hear it. I call this CD a gateway CD becuase it led me to wanting more and more REO Speedwagon that WASN'T on the radio. And I gotta tell you folks! Your missing alot if your only listening to the greatest lits album. There are more than just the 14 songs on this album to appreciate. This album is GREAT! And it will DEFINATLEY take you back. REO plays with a tremendous amount of energy. THIS is feel good music. I recommend every song on the disc. Enjoy!

Brings back alot of good memories, this is a good Cd. It is 80's rock with a good beat with lots of hair. REO is in the same category as Styx, Steve Miller, and Kansas. You will like it

I still prefer Hi Infidelity as a single CD but overall this compliments it well when not overlapping. REO is well worth a place in my collection. When they played backup to Aerosmith the crowd chanted REO REO, Aerosmith played three encore songs then the entire stage was reset and REO played for another hour and more for the crowd and the music, I will never forget that concert and REO's appreciation shown for their music being appreciated by that roaring crowd, it was a late night well enjoyed. Aerosmith was very good but REO Rocked and Rocked On. What a memory.

I have searched many so called Greatest Hits albums(CDs) only to find them lacking in content. That was not the case here. This CD has all of the hits I was looking for from REO Speedwagon without having to buy several CDs. If you want an REO Speedwagon CD with their greatest hits, this is the best one I've found so far.

I wanted to have this collection of oldies but goodies and this compilation is perfect. I highly recommend this CD. It has everything REO that you could want. Brings back my high school days.....

I love the way they took all of the classics, pre-rolled them up for me to puff on in my own high life experience. Great for the fan or even someone who doesnt even know the band that wants to broaden their horizons into a fatter joint. This is one of the all-time favorites that just dont need to go away and die off with the rest, but need to rock on with the greats and keep on keepin on.

I love this CD! All the songs are excellent! I bought it because I lost my old one and everyone has been wanting to listen to it lately!

Love this CD. Bought it years ago when it first came out. Recently came across it again and bought it as a gift for a friend. Excellent original music, brings back great memories! Be sure to turn it up loud! This is where rock n' roll came from!

The CD came in it's original case and included both sleeves. The case had some scratches on it, no biggie. CD played perfectly! Great price too!

A great compilation of REO's radio hits for those who want just the hits. Diehard fans will of course want all individual albums, but for moderate fans, or those who are looking to get into REOS's music, this album is a good place to start.

Its a really good CD .I already had the CD but the kids got a hold of it.This CD has a lot of hits on it ,and worth picking it up.

Excellant liter side of the REO Speedwagon needs a volume 2to finish it off but no complaints here if you love music it is an excellant cd to add to your collection The Greatest Hits REO Speedwagon

Love this group, love the fact they have a greatest hits so I can indeed keep singing their songs and enjoy my unnumerable trips on the road. Great addition for those that enjoy love songs.

Great compilation CD of hits from a great band. If you grew up listening to this music it is a fun walk down memory lane.

REO speedwagon is one of the most ambutious recording groups in history. They broke new ground in medolic harmonies and vibrations. This compilation of their recordings includes some of their eatlier recordings, when they were blossoming into a major force on the music scene. Its' a must-have item.

It was wonderful to find the CD on E-bay. I have been keeping a eye out for it for a while. The CD was in excellent condition and I am enjoying the music very much. the reason why I bought it was I had one, but have no idea what happened to it, so when I found it on E-bay, I bought it. There is really nothing I can say about disliking this product. The seller and the product were and is great.

I have liked REO Speedwagon since they first were introduced to the music world. I had several bids on REO's CDs but did not win. I won this item at the price I was willing to pay. A very easy transaction.
