IF YOU ARE AFTER A DVD CAMCORDER WITH THE BUDGET PRICE(FROM EBAY) GO FOR IT. IT TAKE 1 MP DITIGAL PICTURE AS WELL AS CAPTURING EXCELLENT QUALITY VEDIO. YOU CAN EDIT AND MIX UP EFFECT ON THE CAMERA. WEIGHTS ABOUT 510G INCLUDING THE BATTERY AND BATTERY LIFE IS GOOD.
IF DESIGN IS A CONCERN FOR U THAN IT MIGHT NOT BE THE BEST CHOICE.

1 Megapixel CCD sensor. it camtures 1280x960 photo. has got color viewfinder and 2.5"lcd screen. On camera editing.
What I don't like?
Does not support much option to do editing in PC and limited support format. Design could be more attractive
If are looking for camcorder to straight shoot and play in DVD player, don't care about big dvd camcorder brand(sony) this camera would give u lots of feature in comperatively low price

Good camcorder overall. You must be really careful with the DVDs after recording and during finalizing. If you touch the DVD before finalizing then you can loose all contents. If the camcorder looses power while finalizing the same occurs.
The movie quality is great when played straight from the camcorder, but not as good when played from a DVD player (newer model, SONY, progressive scan).
Great, long-lasting battery. Very responsive and overall a good buy, but could use a bit better quality in DVD player playback (so that it isn't so choppy between scenes).

I love this it was a birthday present for my husband! We had a baby in january and at 6 1/2 months he started crawling and my husband kept saying this needs to be filmed so I got him a camera and ya we love it it is perfect!

Everything was good and timely, except the battery doesn't keep a charge. We have to go buy a new one to have mobile tapeing. Other then that all seems great. We are having fun with it.
