The ultimate in digital camcorders, DZMV100A features technology, which lets you record high-quality MPEG-2 video (the same used for DVD productions) directly to a dual-sided, 2.8-gigabyte disc. The disc can be written and re-written to hundreds of times without degradation. Combine this with state-of-the-art camera and convenience features, and you have a virtual motion picture studio that fits in the palm of your hand.DZMV100A is a full-featured camcorder that records up to two hours of high-quality MPEG-2 video or high-resolution stills on a dual-sided DVD-RAM disc. Images can be played back from the camera, on DVD players with DVD-RAM read capability or uploaded to your PC for editing. This DVD camcorder records two types of still on disc: stills (MPEG2 704 x 480 pixels) to be viewed on TV and stills (JPEG 1280 x 960 pixels) to be used on PC. The camera provides approx. 60 minutes of recording time in High Quality mode (704x480) and approximately 120 minutes in Standard Quality mode (352x480). You can use the PC connection software to transfer PC stills to PC. The camera itself offers a wealth of point-and-shoot conveniences that makes operation easy and automatic.
