    Compact and user friendly with great features! Can also take stills but you have to buy a SD memory card extra and you have to buy the software extra that will let you download the videos into a computer. I found Roxio online that you can also use to do this with. I bought this item at Walmart about 2 months ago for around $350.00 and I think I paid another $30.00 for the SD card. I am very happy with this camera/recorder. 2 thumbs up!

    This camcorder was rated #3 by Consumer Reports. The two camcorders above it qwere $200-200 more in price. This one was rated slightly lower because of sound quality. I have not seen anything in the sound quality that would make me think it is not a top product. It is better than any of the Sony Camcorders I have owned previously.

    I love the ease of use on the camcorder. I did not realize when i bought it that it also takes a card to take still photots on at the same time you can record movies on the mini-disc. That was a great bonus and the pictures are clear and sharp. WOW...I don't need to purchase a digital camera too!

    The size of this camera is small and easy to hold. I like the widescreen format on the LCD screen.

    All in All? This was a great camera. I saved over $100 retial by buying it on ebay. It was a refurbished unit however, seller ebestdeal4, sent me an extended warranty so I got a 3 year warranty for $35. I have had no problems with the unit.

    BUY THIS CAMCORDER!!!! YOU WILL BE HAPPY WITH IT!!!
