History of a Time to Come - wow...
I heard this album about a year ago, lent to me by a friend, and it blew me off my feet.
It starts off with this very eerie chanting intro, which then culminates into a "So...it is done!", which then goes into the fast-paced, thrashy intro called "A Cautionary Tale".
The whole album spans a very versatile thrash-metal sound. From mile-a-minute, blistering tracks such as "A Cautionary Tale" and "The Church Bizarre", to mid-paced tracks such as "Behind the Crooked Cross" and Horned is the Hunter", as well as an instrumental, "A Dead Man's Robe", this album is an absolute essential for anybody who could call themselves a fan of thrash metal. Even better is their sophomore offering, "Dreamweaver (Reflections of our Yesterdays).
10/10, can't stress enough how good this is.
