this is a really excellent book, but the paperback omits the map which is referreed to in the text; i assume but do not know it would be included in the hardcover. it's well worth reading, the number 1 title for the seminole war. such as, did you know the army bought a rifle for the war which, like the M-16 in Vietnam, was a loser and jammed after a few shots? it'd be nice if our troops got the best weapons wouldn't it?
